Richmond, Mo.

Richmond is point B on this map.. On the North side of the Missouri river..

Like we usually do, we met at the local McDonalds restaurant just North of my house and rode directly to the distant restaurant town on major highways...   Just like we would if we were taking the car...

This included a lot of I 435 around our fair city..  And then the 210 highway out on the North side of the river...

We arrived and found that 40 or more bikes were already there...

The Mexican restaurant didn't open until 11 AM and didn't do breakfast, so a bunch of folks were lounging around under the shade trees on the East side of the property... When they opened the doors, they had a table set up for 40... All in one long table thru the center of the restaurant... We filled that and then had tables around the perimeter as well... I lost count at 50...

In the afternoon, it was 91 for the high temperature and we made our way back home along the South side of the river going back to a motorcycle dealer's show room in Blue Springs... We were looking for the 2013 Suzuki Bergman scooter that has been changed this year... No soap...... they didn't have one..

We did our usual hang out in McDonalds by the Mororcycle dealer for a couple of hours and finally returned home.... About 150 miles in all.... That seems short now, after some of the other marathon rides we have been on.... But with the afternoon's hotter temperatures, I was glad to be back home and find the air conditioning....

Before long though, we will be pining for these summer days, so we had better enjoy them while we have them...

  1. I think you need to do some research and find a group to ride with in AZ. There has to be something like that.

  2. Thanks for posting the map, I like to see the different routes taken around the city as I've never been to that area of the country. Sure are a lot of guys involved in those bike rides.

  3. I'm seeing SO many motorcycles on the road and love looking at the various models, sizes, equipment, and trying to figure out if they are doing long distance or short, etc. A lot of ladies out there as well.
