Ema sings Taylor Swift....

The day was almost rain all day long.....   We would go out do do something and get chased back inside...   Our yard is very long because of all of this moisture, but it has only been 6 days since Ben and Caden cut it last Saturday...

The grand kids were over here this afternoon, and Caden suggested we go mow it again.... But it was just too wet...  We would have had grass ball soup....

But tonight, we went to the presentation put on by a Taylor Swift music camp..  Our grand daughter Ema has been going all week as they learned some new songs and got ready for the stage presentation...

I tried to take some pictures, but they declared no Flash!  And the kids were taught a lot of choreograph dance to go with the singing...  And, that just made for blurrrrrrrrr...  Ema did a solo on one song with four other girls each taking a verse...

They didn't have to do the whole song solo, but each had a couple of lines before handing it off to the next gal....  There was even one boy that was brave enough to join all the girls...  He had a couple of songs where he sang opposite different girls....  But unfortunately they had his mic turned up too loud and he had a stronger voice than the gals too....

But it was cute beyond words...  We were glad we attended...  And we all went to a hand made ice cream place for waffle cones afterwards....

This grandpa gig sometimes is quite fun.....  LOL

  1. oh that sounds like it would have been so cute to watch. Good Grandpa.

Our lawn is getting pretty long as well but the rains just won't stop. I hope the sun comes back out so we can at least get the Hay Crop off.
